What is Perspi-Guard® Sweat Defence™?
Perspi-Guard® Sweat Defence™ is a unique two-step system comprising of Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash, which lifts stubborn odour-causing bacteria from the skin, and Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant, which is so effective that it can be applied as little as once or twice per week. This dual action system effectively controls problematic or heavy sweating, keeping you dry and preventing the return of odour.

What is Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash?
Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash has been formulated to cleanse the skin and eliminate body odours from commonly affected problem areas, such as underarms and feet.

How is Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash different to other body washes?
Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash can be used daily to help reduce or eliminate persistent body odour. Regular shower gels and body washes are not able to effectively remove this odour; they merely deodorise the area for a short time and do not deal with the cause. Problem body odour caused by sweating is known as Bromhidrosis.

How does Perspi-Guard® Odour Control Bodywash work?
When we sweat bacteria forms on the surface of the skin creating enzymes. These enzymes react with air and break down lipids within the sweat, which in turn release the unpleasant odours associated with sweating. Unlike regular body washes, Perspi-Guard® Antibacterial Odour Control Bodywash has been formulated with a 0.2% Triclosan content to effectively target and reduce the odour-causing bacteria that build up on the skin as a direct result of sweating.

What is Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant?
Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant is a high strength antiperspirant created to control problem perspiration, and can be used on all normal skin types to prevent sweat and odour. It is so effective, it only requires one or two applications per week, although more frequent applications may be required in more severe cases.

Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant was originally created to control Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). However, the formula’s mild soothing properties – combined with its excellent results – enable its use on all normal skin types, to prevent problem perspiration under the arms, on the palms and even on the soles of the feet.

How does Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant work?
Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant contains a dual active formulation, part of which stretches the sweat ducts, while other elements form a partial obstruction, preventing the more viscous sweat reaching the surface of the skin. This double action provides the ultimate level of protection from both sweat and odour.

Why apply Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant at night?
The sweat glands are least active at night, when the body is naturally calming down and becoming less active. Applying Perspi-Guard® Maximum Strength Antiperspirant at this time is essential to making the formulation work at its best, as it allows the formula to position itself just under the skin, and initiate the active ingredients before they are potentially carried away by sweating.
