Specialist formula for bromhidrosis

Unlike regular body washes, which often only deodorise problem areas for a short time, this bodywash deals with the root cause of the problem. The scientific formulation was developed specifically to treat problem odour, also known medically as Bromhidrosis. Bromhidrosis is where odour causing bacteria is contsantly present on the skin.

It contains Triclosan, an exceptionally effective antibacterial and antimicrobial ingredient which targets and reduces the odour-causing bacteria that build up on the skin during sweating. Especially effective on commonly affected problem areas, of the body such as underarms, feet and groin.

Used as required, this specially created Body wash will lift odour causing bacteria from the skin, providing a clean base for the correct application of antiperspirants. Most standard or regular shower gels simply mask the smell for a period of time and do not removes the root cause of odour. They leave bacteria on the skins surface which produces enzymes that break down creating ‘waste material’ such a butyric acid and it is this that gives the familiar and unpleasant BO or Body odour smell.

Perspi-Guard Odour Control Bodywash will remove this bacteria, prevent breakdown and waste production on skin, and leave it smelling fresh. You can then apply an effective antiperspirant such as Perspi-Guard Maximum Strength to help control sweat and prevent bacteria forming again.

The feet contain the most sweat glands of any part of the body and so it is expected that this area is among the most prone to malodour from sweating. Using Perspi-Guard Odour Control Bodywash regularly on the feet will help reduce foot odours and ensure a more confident feeling.
